Mitsubishi Aircraft has revealed new Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) on roll out ceremony at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Komaki, Nagoya.
The MRJ is the first Japanese commercial aircraft in last 50 years, Pratt & Whitney PW1200G engines was special built powering the MRJ.

Mitsubishi colors the aircraft with special signature red, black and gold livery along its fuselage. The colors are just right on its streamline fuselage shaped.
Nobuo Kishi, Mitsubishi Aircraft chief engineer said that they also prepared another two prototypes for flight testing. Second one on wing to fuselage join process and another one is working on fuselage sections.
The first prototype of MRJ has been passed all of assembly process and engines installation in last few months.
The first flight and flight test plan on second quarter in 2015. Mitsubishi prepares about seven prototypes to pass the certification requirements in flight test.
Two MRJs for ground test and another five aircraft for flight tests purpose.
The MRJ is expected to enter full operation in early of 2017 and able to compete with another regional jet e.g Embraer E-Jets.
